2011 in "Perspective"

Yes, 2011 is just a day an some hours away, and a lot of people are trying to find out what are going to be their new goals. People are thinking  if they are going to lose some of those “extra-pounds” they gained, or for what is worth, I know some people that want to gain some pounds! Yes, gain! That’s life; most people are neither quite comfortable nor happy with what they have. Where I live, I’ve heard these days a lot of weird or uncommon wishes for the New Year. There are some people I know, that want to change jobs, buy more shoes, jewelry and clothes (allegedly they don’t have enough, and when is that anyway?), take a suntan, buy a new car, a new house, have babies, begin a new business to quit the present job, go to study again, buy an Ipad, or a Samsung galaxy tablet, or just my favorite one, the new Kindle Fire, that by the way, I really recommend, ( I received it as Christmas’s gift, and boy Am I happy with it!). People sometimes just forget that they really may decide on new goals, whenever they want, they don’t have to wait until the end of the year to make new resolutions into their lives. Better yet, what they should be doing instead, is looking back to give thanks for everything that they got, that they received, that they even gave, that they lived, good and bad, because that is what is important. Not only material things are worth your gratitude, but the things that are really priceless, like knowing God, having good health, be with the family, love, having the “famous” inner peace! That’s what is really important, the rest, well, the rest is just “peanuts”, “bonus” that we receive in Life, to make our lives easier. The good with the bad, the experiences that make us grow, the love we give and receive, are the good things in life that make our life smoother. Well, for me, I’m making new resolutions since this past March, and still I’m working on those! So for this next year, I wish the best for everybody. I wish that everybody may be healthier, happier, wealthier, and be more focused on what is important to them. If you haven’t tried to make real resolutions (I mean, achievable resolutions!...hey if you really want it, you may achieve it!) , try to make some for you, do something like a “Bucket List” if you like, and begin asking yourself, what I would do, if there was no limits or restrictions? And then, try to make those happen, you never know, in the middle of an “imaginary brainstorm”, some great ideas could come to you, and maybe, someday, we’ll hear some great news from you. Do you think you are prepared to take the challenge? Come on! Let me know, write a few here, maybe somebody could come up with more ideas to make you realize that you can achieve whatever is it that is in your mind, and maybe you could find some proposals or ideas with some resources to make your dreams happen. I wish you the best of the best for this 2012!
